About Us

Our story

We started by renting out a spare room in our own home. Our first guests stayed with us, and it grew from there.

Since 2019 we’ve been buying and fixing up homes, mostly places that needed real work. Today we have eleven across Washington and Alaska, and the two of us still run them. Andrew is an Army aviation veteran and former Apache pilot. Vivian runs the guest side with him. When you message us, you’re talking to one of us.

What we care about

We focus on the practical things that make a stay work:

• The listing matches the house. The photos and descriptions show what you’ll actually get.
• A kitchen you can cook in. Real cookware, knives that cut, and the basics to make a meal.
• Wi-Fi that works. Good enough to work from.
• Arrival instructions before you need them. Door code, parking and anything quirky, sent ahead of time.
• A person who answers. If something breaks, we fix it.

Who stays with us

A lot of our guests are military families, travel nurses, people relocating on short notice, and groups who want to stay under one roof. If that’s you, we’ve probably hosted someone in your situation before, so just ask.

Superhosts, and booking direct

We’ve been Airbnb Superhosts for 7 years and are Vrbo Premier Hosts. Booking direct means booking with us: same homes, same hosts, no platform in the middle.

When we’re not hosting, you’ll usually find us exploring somewhere new with our son Charlie and our adventure-loving pup, Daniel the Spaniel.
